On the Medjool price list used for this guide, every price comes with a grade name: Large, Jumbo, Premium Jumbo or Super Jumbo. The list belongs to one Malaysian date wholesaler and was checked in October 2026. It has nine Medjool listings. If you came looking for Harga Kurma Medjool in Malaysia, this piece reads those nine listings one grade name at a time, with the stock position for each.
What the grade names tell you, and what they don't
Medjool originated in Morocco. It is a large, very soft date with a rich caramel taste. All nine listings on the October list are labelled Palestine.
The grade names on those listings are the importer's own size sorting, not an international standard. A Jumbo from one seller may not match a Jumbo from another. So treat the names as labels within one list, and when you compare two sellers, compare ringgit per kilo first.
Large: three listings, none in stock
Three listings carry the Large name. The 5kg pack was RM250, or RM50 a kilo. Eight 1kg packets came to RM394 for 8kg, RM49.25 a kilo. Twenty-four 250g packets came to RM355 for 6kg, RM59.17 a kilo.
All three were out of stock when the list was checked. In October 2026, then, this list had no Large Medjool in any pack size. If your plan depends on that exact grade name, ask about restock before you count on it.
Jumbo: four listings, three in stock
Four listings use the plain Jumbo name, without Premium or Super in front of it. Three were in stock:
- a 900g box at RM70, which works out at RM77.78 a kilo
- twelve 500g packets (6kg) at RM355, RM59.17 a kilo
- eight 900g packets (7.2kg) at RM448, RM62.22 a kilo
The fourth, another listing of twelve 500g packets, was priced at RM290 (RM48.33 a kilo) and was out of stock. So the same grade name and the same pack format appear twice on one list, RM65 apart.
Among the in-stock Jumbo listings, the per-kilo price ran from RM59.17 to RM77.78, a gap of RM18.61 a kilo between listings with the same grade name and different packs. The 900g box was the only Medjool listing on the list under 5kg, which is why it is the one to look at if you want a small amount.
Premium Jumbo and Super Jumbo: one 5kg pack each
Each of these names appears once, both as a 5kg pack, and both were in stock. Premium Jumbo was RM280, RM56 a kilo. Super Jumbo was RM315, RM63 a kilo. That is RM35 between the two packs, or RM7 a kilo.
The Premium Jumbo pack had the lowest per-kilo price of the five in-stock Medjool listings. The names alone don't say how the fruit in the two packs compares in size, so if that matters to you, ask the seller what each name means on their list.

Using a grade-by-grade list
Start with the grade name you want, then look across its pack sizes on a per-kilo basis. On this list that step alone moved the in-stock Jumbo price by RM18.61 a kilo. Only after that is it worth comparing grade names with each other, and only within one seller's list.
Check stock before you plan around a figure. Every Large listing was out of stock, and so was the cheapest Jumbo one. Prices and stock also move: demand for dates in Malaysia peaks before and during Ramadan, with further peaks around Hari Raya, weddings and kenduri, so recheck a list close to the day you buy.
